Tribal Lace Hoop Earrings – Sterling and Copper Filigree

IMG_0289

Handmade by Amber Yearwood

These large, bold beauties are hand forged using thick recycled sterling wire stock, given sterling self-locking hooks and posts, and 7 smooth wire filigree curls along the bottom for a lacey, somewhat tribal feel. I strongly believe in odd numbers in design, as some of the ancients did. While I don’t quite buy into the whole “even numbers bring bad luck” adage, I do think that odd numbers add interest and encourage the eye to wander a bit more.

These hoops are feminine yet rugged, versatile, and very comfortable!

Measures just under 2.5″, 6.35 cm in diameter.

Posts are standard 20g recycled sterling silver. If you’d like a thicker 18g instead, just ask in the “notes to merchant” upon checkout. No added charge!
