Sterling Silver Lotus Earrings with Faceted Peach Aventurine Gemstones

Sterling Silver Lotus with Faceted Peach Aventurine

Handmade by Amber Yearwood

Sure to become your favorite “go-to” earrings, as they are neutral and rustic enough for most wardrobes, and can be dressed up or down quite easily.

Using a mixture of both traditional and contemporary metalsmithing techniques, I make each flower myself completely in recycled sterling silver. They are oxidized and selectively sanded to evoke a feeling of age, as well as to add depth and highlight the somewhat gritty texture of the petals.

The flowers hang from my own standard 20g heatformed earwires, and my own 1.5mm ball-end headpin is wrapped at the bottom to hold a luscious little faceted round of peachy orange aventurine.

These are definitely a very elegantly rustic and organic pair of earrings! Lightweight and comfortable, and made from scratch with love!

Measures approx. 0.75″, 1.905 cm from the top of the earwire.
