Arabesque Post Earrings – Brushed Hand Cut Sterling Silver

Handmade by Amber Yearwood

Handmade by Amber Yearwood

Elegant arabesque motifs reminiscent of the splendid artwork and architecture from Istanbul, (“♪♫♬ Not Constantinople…♬♫♪”) and the Ottoman Empire of days long gone. They are cut from sterling sheet by hand with a saw, filed, formed into a gentle curve, then given sterling silver posts which make the top “fleur” sit right upon the earlobe just so. They are tumbled well to add strength and durability, and finally given a soft brushed finish. These can be made bright and shiny or oxidized to a deep charcoal upon request.

♪♫♬ Now it’s Turkish delight on a moonlit night! ♪♫♬

All metal is recycled sterling silver and marked as such.
