Athena’s Leafy Branch Earrings – Antique Brass and Sterling

Leafy Brass Branch Earrings

Do you love nature? And very old stuff? So do I, and these earrings are a fantastic addition to your seasonal and nature inspired jewelry collection! Made using very old, antique brass branches and recycled sterling silver posts. They’re oxidized with a rich patina, then selectively sanded to bring out the veining of the leaves. Tumbled for several hours and work hardened with my mallet, then buffed with micro-crystalline wax to help preserve the finish. Lightweight, comfortable and absolutely stunning!

Measures approx. 1.25″ long.
Sterling butterfly backs are included.

*PLEASE NOTE that I only use solder WITHOUT cadmium or lead in my soldered pieces, and a natural non-toxic “pickle” to clean the metal after using the torch. All of my raw metals (wire, sheet, etc.) are recycled/reclaimed metal. When oxidizing, I also use liver of sulfur. No harsh chemicals.*
