A Rivendell favorite…
The original oak leaf ring, one of my earliest designs. It features a gorgeous brass oak leaf which is securely soldered to a 2mm wide recycled sterling silver band. It is tumbled for several hours to add strength and shine, and is then lightly sand for a subtle contrasting finish. Buffed with museum wax to help preserve the finish, but as with all brass, it will tarnish relatively quickly. In time, and with a little rub from a polishing cloth now and again, it will age beautifully with you and acquire a warm brown patina.
Please be sure to specify ring size in the “notes to seller” upon checkout to prevent production delays. If you are unsure of your size, there is also a ring sizer available for purchase under the “Polish/Size” category above.
It’s a great addition to any nature lover’s collection, has been used for wedding and handfasting bands, and even Renaissance Festival costumes. Can be made with a wider band, and can also be silver-plated. Please contact me for a quote.
Band: 2mm wide.
Leaf: just under 1″ long, and just under 1/2″ at the widest point.
